Uriel Ulam is originally from Fresno, California where she studied black & white photography & printmaking. Now living in Scotland, her photography mainly reflects the surrounding scenery & architecture.
Uriel completed courses in photography & screenprinting at The Glasgow College Of Building & Printing, and the Glasgow Print Studio. She is now working freelance and doing stock photography.
Some of her recent works are long exposure studies, inspired by the eye's ability to pick out shapes & forms from random images. Many different light sources & movements are experimented with to achieve colourful flowing designs with unusual lifelike forms. You will find most of her images to be vibrant in color. She is very interested in color and the effect it has on the viewer. Her other work has a large array of nature, landscape and travel photography - she enjoys traveling a great deal mainly around Europe & America. Uriel works mostly with Nikon digital SLR's.
